Revel is a handcrafted urban winery, full bar, and event space. We’re located in Cincinnati’s historic and progressive Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, specializing in handcrafted small-batch wines. Also located just north of the city in Finneytown behind HighGrain Brewing — or as most locals know it, the “Old Brentwood Bowl.”
Our wines are made 100% onsite. Fruit is sourced from vineyards in California, Washington State, Ohio, and even Chile. The wine is produced using a process born in Italy — passed down generation to generation. Revel started in a garage as a hobby, improved in a basement, perfected in the barrel, and transported to our customers in barrel, keg, and can. Made local is more than our brand — it’s our passion.
Two families,
One Passion.
Revel was founded in 2016 by Anthony & Jodi Maieron and the late John (JC) & Amy Coleman. Today the winery is run by Anthony, Jodi, and Amy — people with day jobs, families, and an unrelenting commitment to making Cincinnati feel like home.
The wine carries two lineages. Winemaker Alex Sena brings the craft and the discipline to every small batch that leaves the basement. The method itself came over from Italy with the Maieron family — passed down generation to generation, still followed here on 12th Street.
Together they run operations, events, and the brand. Self-funded, family owned, no outside investors. A working operation by working people, built on passion.
